What is eScrip?

eScrip is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants both locally and on-line.

Registration just got even easier:

There are 3 ways you can register:

ü Complete the attached registration from and send it back to school and your coordinator will register your family/friends.

ü Log on to www.shptso.org and email your coordinator with all the required information (see attached registration form) and your coordinator will register your family/friends.

ü Log on to www.escrip.com and go to Members/Supporters to complete the registration process (follow the easy step by step instructions located on the backside of this letter).

That’s it!

Visit eScrip merchants to shop. It’s automatic! When you use any of your registered cards with a participating merchant provider, the merchant makes a contribution that goes to our school. We can potentially receive hundreds of dollars from your participation alone. And don’t stop there ….invite your friends and family members to sign up as well – they can help support South High School PTSO today!!

Once you are registered – you will receive a supporter ID# and create a password. You can log onto ‘My eScrip’ – where you will find a statement that shows all of YOUR eScrip earnings and purchases for the month/year. This statement allows you to track all of your own purchases as well as our group’s total contributions.

Merchant Guide & Information:

Carrs/Safeway remains to be our biggest merchant supporter for the Anchorage area. However, there are other merchants that contribute.

Carrs/Safeway up to 4% Linen’s ‘n Things 4%

Office Max 2% Macy’s up to 6%

Eddie Bauer 5% Orvis 10%

Shutterfly 10%

Merchant support changes from time to time so be sure to log in to ‘my eScrip’ to see who is actively participating.

Carrs/Safeway:

Present your registered Carrs/Safeway Club Card or enter your phone number when making your purchase. Use of your registered club card is required at checkout to automatically track your purchase and contributions to your organization.

Whenever you shop at Carrs/Safeway – check the bottom of your receipt - It should read:

You have qualifying purchases which have been accumulated toward eScrip !

Contributions:

1% on monthly purchases between $0-$299
Plus 2% on monthly purchases between $300-$499
Plus 3% on monthly purchases between $500-$599
Plus 4% on monthly purchases above $600

Macy's : Store participation includes California, Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona, New Mexico, Minnesota, Texas and Guam. If you have a Macy's credit card – Register under Retail Cards.

Linen-n-Things/eScrip: Reloadable gift cards only – Register under Retail Cards

OfficeMax: Cards are accepted at all locations – Register with the Visa/Mastercard/Am Express you will be paying with.

Step by Step Registration Process:

ü Just log on to www.escrip.com and go to Members/Supporters

ü Click on Sign-up Now

ü Check Group ID and enter our group #500005827

ü Click on South High School PTSO

ü Provide information about yourself

ü Register your grocery community card (Carrs/Safeway)

ü Register additional credit or debit cards (used to make purchases with above listed merchants)

ü Register retail cards

ü Confirm

ü A supporter ID# will be given to you

ü You will be asked to create a password

Did I mention Coupons for Kids?

You can also download coupons from Carrs/Safeway.

Just log on to escrip.com - click on Coupon for Kids - Print desired coupons - Use at Carrs/Safeway - and SHPTSO will receive 5 cents automatically for each coupon redeemed !! New coupons are added weekly.
